अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट की शुरुआत कब से हुई?

सबसे पहला अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय मैच 1844 में यूनाइटेड स्टेटस ऑफ अमेरिका (USA) और कनाडा के बीच में एलिजियन फील्ड्स Hoboken new Jersey में खेला गया। 1859 में पहलीबार अंग्रेजी पेशेवरों की टीम विदेश दौरे पर रवाना हुई। इस टीम ने पहला दौरा ऑस्ट्रेलिया का किया।

1877 में इंग्लैंड पर्यटन टीमने ऑस्ट्रेलियाई इलेवन के खिलाफ दो मैच ऑस्ट्रेलिया में खेला।  इसी समय से टेस्ट मैचों की शुरुआत मानी जाती है। अगले ही वर्ष ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने इंग्लैंड का दौरा किया जो अच्छा रहा। इस दौरे में कोई टेस्ट मैच नहीं हुआ। 1882 में अबतक का सबसे प्रसिद्ध मैच OVAL में खेला गया। यहां से ही इंग्लैंड और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच खेली जाने वाली THE ASHES  श्रुखला की शुरुआत हुई।

The first international match was played between the United States of America (USA) and Canada in 1844, at the Alien Fields Hoboken new Jersey.  For the first time in 1859, a team of English professionals went on a foreign tour.  This team made their first tour to Australia.

 In 1877, the England Tourism team played two matches against the Australian XI in Australia.  From this time, the beginning of Test matches is considered.  The following year Australia toured England which was good.  There were no Test matches in this tour.  The most famous match ever played was in 1882 at OVAL.  It is from here that the ASHES Shrukhla, played between England and Australia, started.
